These are the only 2 plates left out of a complete set that had been in my family as long as anyone could remember. The set was being displayed in a china hutch. The house burnt and these were the only plates that were salvageable. As you can see in the pictures there is alot of black on the plates. That\'s from the heat and smoke. They have been washed but we couldn\'t get the black off of them. They used to have a gold trim around the edges but most of it is gone. There is something on the back of both plates that probably tells more about them but I can\'t make it out, like a stamp or something. I don\'t know if these can be restored or not. But I hate to just throw then away if they could be restored and be added to a set if some one needs them. If you have any questions please message me. Thanks!
