The necklaceis crafted out of graduatedcoral beads anda carvedcoral flower & leavespendant, enhanced with coral drops. The coral pendant is beautifullyhandcarved (& pierced)with lots of detail. The metalonback of pendant & onthedropsis agildedsterling silver,unmarked but tested.The clasp is gold filled.
The coral is a natural sea coral, not dyed, not treated. The coral is alight-medium salmon color with an orange hue, withsome natural whiteinclusions, & tiny cavities which aretypical to coral, the drops areslightly darker.
Exact color of coral is difficult to photograph, I tried my best to get the colors as close as possible to to the real colorsand the pictures were taken in different lighting condition, however the color is lighter than itappears in the pictures, and please note that colors vary from monitor to monitor due to different monitors resolutions.
MEASURMENTS: The necklace measure 19-1/4" long wearable lenght. The pendant alone not including the drops measures 46mm wide x 21mm tall on tallest part (approx. 1-3/4" x 3/4") & approx. 12mmthick onthickest part. The pendant including the drops hangs 55mm (approx. 2-1/8"). The largest coral beads measure 6.5-7mm, the smallest beadsnear the claspmeasure 3.5-4mm. The necklace weighs 33.5 grams.
3 pictures were taken next to a dime, 3 next to aruller, and the mannequin in the last 2 pictures is life sized.
