Antique Civil War Era Mariners Star QUILT ~ Rich Fabrics! "For Martha"

This early quilt dates to the 1860's and is filled with gorgeous fabrics.
Known to us as the Mariners' Star, it is also called "Rolling Pinwheel"
Measures a large 84" x 99"
Lots of rare fabrics including Prussian Blue, Ombre's and more.
Amazingly Hand quilted at 13-14 spi
Circles and stars throughout the quilting.
The back corner is cross stitched, "For Martha".
The binding is brown.
Condition: Good Mild edge wear, 2 of the blocks have fabric popping/deteriation (these pieces could be replaced), there is some age spotting on the back, and 1 small age spot on the front (photo'd)
Freshly hand laundered.
A beautiful, collectors' quality, early quilt!
