Antique Composite Converted Lamp 1800's Frosted & Pressed Font:
For your consideration is this nice late 1800's oil lamp which has been converted. It appears to be in overall good condition. It works as an electric lamp should but can easily be converted back to oil..just remove the center wiring and replace burner. It should have a Queen Anne burner to be an original piece.
The oil font is nice..frosted and pressed glass..no chips or cracks. It does have straw marks.
The bird and flowering branches are beautiful. The bird is a Swift and looks wonderful amid the flowering tree branches.
The base is metal, probably iron, and has a little patina showing.
Lamp stands 20" to top of shade. 13" to top of socket.
