Antique E. N. Welch Eclipse Regulator Clock W/ Calendar In Walnut Mid 1800's:
Hello and Thanks for Looking. Up for offers is this Beautiful Antique E.N. Welch Eclipse Regulator Wall Clock With Calendar. This Clock was Made somewhere between 1860 and 1890? There was a piece of paper in the clock when I purchased it from a local estate sale that says that the movement is 100 years old and it looks like the note was written in 1960 from what the note says (Please look at last Pic). If that is true then that could mean that this clock was made about a year before the Civil War started. KeepsGreat Timeand Calendar works. Case is made of Walnut and Measure 38 1/2 inches tall, 15 1/4 inches in width (at widest part), and 6 1/4 inches in depth (at thickest part). This Clock has a Revervse wind (wound counterclockwise) and comes with key. Bottom right side has a piece missing and there are two cracks on each side of the paper dial (Please look at pics). Back of case has part of the label for E.N. Welch and inside mechanism is marked E.N. Welch. Also on the back label under the E.N.there is anumber 8. I believe the glass is original (there are waves in the glass) but I am not sure if the dial is original. Any questions feel free to contact me. Insurance is include inthe price of shipping.
