Doll measures 21Inch/53cm, quite a rare larger size for this doll
This beautiful doll dates from around 1860, I just love her face and expression. Her molded hair is in a bun and has the look of being in a hair net too, very rare for these dolls to have.
There are no markings to the back of her shoulder plate
This lovely rare doll has a lovely pale china head and shoulder plate,hand painted features with lovely painted blue eyes and rosy pink tinted cheeks.
She has her original cloth body with leather arms, the body has several repairs and the feet are very fragile and leaking sawdust.

Her outfit has been made for her more recently but is in keeping with what she would have

originally worn

Condition report : Beautiful very old doll, some paint loss to molded hair (see pictures).

Shoulderplate has been repaired. Body with old repairs and leaking sawdust from feet,
