Antique Edwardian 9K 9ct Rose Gold Locket

A lovely antique Edwardian 9ct rose gold round locket in very good original condition.

The front and back covers are very ornate and the front of the locket has a round cartouche which is not engraved. Would date around 1900. It is marked to the back 9ct front and back which means the front and back covers are solid 9ct gold and the frame is gold plated. There is a registration no: 515265. No damage or repairs. Inside the locket has both rings to hold the photos. No glass but there is hard plastic which would have replaced the original glass when the previous owner broke it. Opens and closes properly and closes with a click.

The locket measures approx. 1\" or 25mm. The chain is modern and gold plated. The locket weighs 4.6 grams without the chain.
