Antique Fabulous Sweet Folky Ct 25" Rag Cloth Doll Pencil Face Aafa:
For your FOLKY! CT Rag doll 25" Igot her fromone of my Seattle dealer friends and he bought her at show in NH several years ago and she came from a CT Estate. She is 25" herlegs andright arm arehard rag stuffed and her head and torso are bran stuffed. She is hinged with muslin body hand and treadle sewn. I LOVE this doll and hate selling her, your loss my gain. I believe her dress is original , it is wool suiting type material in faded red lined in homespuncheck in blues and browns, most of dress is handsewn. Her face is SO charming penciledin with sweetest smile and demeanor. She has stitched hand on her right hand, hand stitched. Her head is kind offloppy assome of the bran has gone , but if you square it up and plop it down when she sitsit staysupright. She is not perfect but I know you early rag doll lovers like me and there are plenty of you that love em missing parts and all! She is a keeper and you will love her. I am not putting a reserve on her but if not enough buyers and watchers by the 6th day I will end the sale.. paid pretty penny for her and not going to let her go cheap.
size : 25" tall . 7" arm 12" leg head 5" high and 4.75" wide waist approx 15"
Condition:-Very good as noted above she is missing left arm, dress has losses and fading , body has stains and toning .
