That’s right, from Antwerp, Belgium! And from the GOVERNOR’S MANSION specifically!! We were recently fortunate enough to purchase from the contents of the Governor’s Mansion in Antwerp, due to its complete renovation. This stunning smoker stand was among the superb pieces we’ll be offering for sale, and what an amazing provenance!

~I’ve never found one this complete, with ALL THREE original carved top boxes, with the center deer/stag carving, with the brass bowl AND brass CUTTER~

~TRUE BLACK FOREST craftsmanship in the carving, even LOOK at the lower legs, feet, how there is open carved vines on the top of the legs~

Condition:

The stand is in good condition for its age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. ALL THE BOXES ARE PRESENT and SO IS THE LITTLE BRASS CUTTER!! The brass cutter is wiggly, and on the underneath, you can see places the carving has been re-glued and re-braced with some little metal brackets in a couple of places. Once again, I always provide multiple photos that should be considered as part of the description and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to offerding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character….NOT for like-new condition!!!
