Antique French Empire 3 Mold Blown Pressed Lacy Green Glass Candlestick Sandwich For Sale
This listing is for a large early antique baroque style glass candlestick from France, circa 1st quarter of the 19th Century. It has a three point mold blown hollow font attached to the pressed base via wafer. The blown socket is attached to the font similarly. It is a deep teal green color. I found this same candle stick on p.77 of "American Glass - From the Pages of 'Antiques'". This candlestick measures 9.4" tall, 4.8" point to point across the base, and 2.7" across the socket. It is in very good condition for its age. There are two chips to the edge of the socket rim, and one chipped point on the six sided base. Otherwise, just standard nicks along the edge of the base.
