Fabulous Authentic Antique French Religious Gilt Ormolu Toleware Decorative Church Couronne/Crown-making an Unique find for anyone decorating on a Chic & Shabby Vintage French Theme.
Discovered at a Brocante in the Poitou-Charentes region of South West France, it was discovered amongst Religious Artifacts including Vetements from a house clearance of a Retired Priest.
In mainly goodbut expected Vintage Condition throughout-it was & still is as found- covered in dust/cobwebs with numerous Faux Gemstones missing but could easily be replaced/restored. The gilt Toleware is a lovely warm golden colour but would still benefit from a very good clean.
Superb Fleur-de-Lis styleled decoration with scrolled & floral banding adorned with multi-coloured Faux Jewels
Ideal for Vintage display,it was spotted on the head of a Large Stone Religious Figure which suited it well!
Measures 5.00 inches diameter x 3.00 inches deep in dimension.
