Antique French Grande Sonnerie Quarter Repeater Carriage Clock 19th Century:
French Late 19th Century Grande Sonnerie Quarter Repeater Carriage Clock in Outstanding, Fully Working Condition
Outstanding rare carriage clock, in fully functional condition. This clock strikes Grande Sonnerie in passing and in repeat. It has no lever to turn the striking off, so be prepared for a lot of chiming. It has 8 day time train, because of so much striking, the strike train is probably shorter (I have not timed it yet) and will need to be wound for the clock to run (as with all rack striking clocks). I see no damage whatsoever, not to glass, not to the dial. There are some very minor tarnish spots to the brass, but it is still quite shiny. Pictures speak for themselves, but do let me know if you have any additional questions. The clock measures 7"(30 cm)high with its handle up.
I am not a clock dealer - I am a clock collector and a member of NAWCC. I currently havemore than200 clocks and I keep buying more, so I have to sell some. I would be selling many more if I had the time to list them...

Please note that I will not ship to an address that is different from the one listed by or PayPal unless the winning buyer can really prove to me that the address is legitimate. My prefered shipping for this is FedEx Home Delivery - UPS has been very bad at handling packages lately. Please note that FedEx shipments require destination's phone number, if does not have yours and you are concerned about releasing it to me, we can find an alternate method of shipping.
