This is a really pretty little antique French silver thimble, marked with a figure 8 - size? French control mark? see photograph of mark. It has one or two little usage dents, but it is in lovely condition overall. It is about 2.3cm in height and 1.2cm diameter across the base, and weighs 3.9g. It is decorated with a kind of honeycomb design over most of the thimble, with a fancy scalloped design at the base.
