Antique French soupière or vegetable dish from the famous Longwy factory.
The Longwy stamp and the engraved mark on base date from about 1900.
Overall height 7\".
Bowl about 4½\" high, 10½\" handle to handle,
7½\" across bowl.
Base about 5.2\" across.
An elegant soupière with some age freckles and shadow, very light surface scratching on interior.
Faint wearing to glaze on rim and a black spot made during firing.
Hand painted handles with slight scuffing.
Raspberry red/pink floral sprays joining olive green floral wreaths tied with long ribbons.
A hairline crack in lid handle which was probably made during firing.1427g
