Early 1900\'s antique wooden wheelchair with wire spoke wheels and handrims. This antique rolling chair is completely functional. It features a fully-reclining back with a push handle, a welded frame, a spring-loaded seat, adjustable leg supports, hard rubber wheels with bearings, and a folding footrest. No rust is apparent and the chair is easy to control. There is some delamination at the bottom of the seatback veneer.
This chair was painted brown. The paint has worn off the wooden contact surfaces and exposed the wood (it appears to be oak,) so this chair was originally painted long ago and used extensively.The large wheels are 26\" in diameter. The small wheels are 10\" in diameter. The seat height is 26-1/2\". The width between the armrests is 18-1/2\".The total height of the chair is 48\". The overall width is 26\'. The total length when fully reclined is 73\".The total weight is 75 pounds.
