I inherited this piece from a familymember and don’t know much about it. The one clock dealer I consulted over theinternet advised me that it is a German wall clock from around 1870. The worksare stamped on the back “Furderer Jaegler & Cie”. The wood case and the mechanicals are inexcellent condition (although the three finials may not be original). The clockruns very well and keeps great time. It runs approximately 8 days until needingrewinding. It strikes the hour and half hour. The clock case, excluding thefinials and the piece on the very bottom back of the case, measuresapproximately 8.25” wide, 5.75” deep and 10.5” high. The overall height of theclock is approximately 18.25”. Pendulum and key are included. This is not acuckoo clock. Please see all the pictures, which are part of this description.
