Ganesha is widely revered as the Hindu remover of obstacles and as lord of beginnings. Ganesha\'s head symbolizes the Atma (soul) of human existence. His body signifies Maya, the earthly existence of human being, and the elephant head, wisdom. This piece is bezel set with a .25CT (1/4 CT) ruby cabochon measuring 4 MM in diameter. The pendant is filled with resin and is securely attached to a four strand, black seed bead necklace that has a hook and eye closure with a safety lock. The necklace shows normal wear due to age and use with dents in the beads and is quite a conversation piece. It is tested and guaranteed 22K and has been professionally cleaned.
