Antique Georgian (1762) handmade black enamel, woven hair and 15k gold mourning ring size 5-1/2 (UK size K) with unusual double crystal. The ring tests as gold and is a minimum of 15k gold. Lovely design to the mounting on either side of the double crystal. The oval doublet containing the woven hair measures 3/8\"(1cm) x 5/16\"(0.8cm). Total weight of the ring is 2.6 grams. This ring is in memory of John Hay and the gold and black enamel wavy band is noted \"John Hay Esq OB 8th June 1762 AET 75\". There is some wear as noted in the photos to the letter \"ET\". Additionally visible under a jeweler\'s loup are some light scratches on the crystal. Returns accepted. Shipping from Spain.
