A stunning Georgian 9ct Rose Gold Ring dating to c1820, which is with a foil backed Emerald surrounded by Seed Pearls (please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This fine quality antique ring, which weighs 2.8 grams, has a typically Georgian wire shank that forms a trifurcated shoulder supporting the rectangular beautiful bezel that measures approx\' 11.5mm by 10.0mm. The bezel is centrally set with a foiled Emerald (approx\' 4mm by 3.5mm) surrounded by Pearls to create a ring that is simply sublime. Typical of the period the ring is unmarked but it has been tested and is guaranteed to be made from solid 9ct Gold.
This wonderful antique ring, which dates from the early 19th Century is in great condition overall, as shown. However commensurate with age the Emerald has a number of surface scratches as shown in the photographs, which on close examination can be seen with the naked eye, but won\'t really be noticed when worn.
This beautiful ring is sized at a UK Ring Size \'J 1/2\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'5\'; ss with almost all antique rings the band isslightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightlydifferently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this willnot affect the ring when worn.
In summary, this is a rare & beautiful Georgian Rose Gold Ring set with a foiled Emerald & Pearls, which dates to c1820 - it is quite simply sublime.
