An antique early 19th century French high carat gold clasp with the words \'Souvenir de ma mere\' engraved on it. This means in remembrance of my mother. The French rams head mark on the end denotes a high carat gold, 18ct and was marked on small items from 1819 to 1838. In very good condition and works well. Weighs 0.9 grams. Measures 12mm by 6mm excluding hoops.

Please note that all my items for sale are old and one would expect to see some wear commensurate with the age of the item. I try to list all the imperfections, repairs or damage, however, bear in mind they are not brand new and will show age related wear.
