An absolutely charming, totally original regency tea caddy of importance.

A beautiful rich patina earned over the passage of time and has not been tampered with in any way.

Rosewood with delightful box string inlay, it bears its original wax finish, never having been later French polished as you would more commonly find.If bears both of its original sea shell inlay.

ALL hardware is original. missing one of its lion head handles.

The internal lid lining is the original lovely silk velvet.

This is a raretreat for the connoisseur box collector. Nothing has been tampered with and it has a lovely original finish.

The piece has many some damage imperfections gained over the last couple of centuries. They all only add to its magnificent patina. There is nothing to detract from its superb presentation.
