Offered for your consideration is this Late 19th Century Antique Relief Shaped Two-Part Hinged German Easter Egg Metal Tin Chocolate Mould/Mold #5569 by Anton Reiche of Dresden. It measures approx. 4-1/2\" long x 3\" high x 4\" deep...including the bracket closure...without closure it is about 3\" deep. This egg was repaired by its previous owner & the hinges work but the egg does not close together properly. It could still function as two half-moulds whose 1/2 egg contents would display nicely around an Easter cake.
