Antique German Santa Father Christmas Hold To Light Htl Post Card For Sale
You are offerding on an early German Santa Hold to Light post card, featuring a Father Christmas figure dressed in a long green coat. The Santa is standing outside a window, holding a pack full of toys, and peering in to see two Victorian children asleep in their bed. The card was made in the early 1900's. and is in very nice original condition. The card was never postmarked, and was addressed on the back to "Master Stuart Grime". There is very minor edge wear to the corners of the card, with a very faint 1/2" crease to the top right corner. This crease is difficult to see, and is not evident on the back of the card. This minor damage does not detract in any way from the display of the card. The die cut outs of the card are beautifully lit when held to the light. The card measures approximately 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
