Last (of my) sales until Mid This is a 5 Day sale.....Every mom tells her children "Don't go anywhere with a stranger." And yet, here we see this maternal-looking bear leading two innocents away. Is that the story here? Or could there be a very much nicer story to this piece. This is a Hertwig snow baby piece, made in the 1920s or 30s. We know this because we all checked the chart in the back of my book, right? These babies are really tiny. The entire piece is about 1.5" tall.The condition of this piece is very good. There are rubs to the paint, but they are mostly on the red paint. Bear (no pun intended) in mind that the tiny faces are just a little over 1/4" high! You are seeing them very much enlarged in the picture. No chips or cracks to this piece.
