This is a very rare German Reserve Soldier\'s glass flask which German soldiers serving on reserve used to drink beverages (often schnapps) during military gatherings.
It is very rare because it is wrapped in a beautiful red leather with a front opening which displays ascene between a reserve soldier and his girl friend or wife who is obviously sad about his departure.(I have tried to show you this view as best possible in one of the close ups).
The cloth cord is in great shape as is the glass container and surrounding leather which is boundabout the glass. The top is also in great shape. AGAIN, PLEASE SEE THE CLOSE UPS FOR DETAILS.
