Offered here for your consideration is an antique German solid silver and Dresden porcelain knife and fork set. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th century.
The silver bears faux Hanau hallmarks and waspossibly made by Storck and Sinsheimer. The porcelain is unmarked and bears typical \"Dresden Flowers\" decoration throughout.
The set is in overall good used estate condition. The handles had had small losses at the ends of thehandles, which were rounded out, near complete rubbing to what was a gilt finish on the silver, light glaze andsurface scratches and scuffing throughout, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements:ForkLength: ca. 8 7/8 in.
KnifeLength: ca. 8 1/2 in.
