A beautiful antique Gustav Becker German Regulator wall clock in excellent condition and purchased at an estate sale. The case is beautiful grained walnut with unusual elegant floral carvings, and all pieces are attached and undamaged. The clock comes with the original ornate brass dial, pendulum, two weights and wheels, and signed brass workings. The face is beautiful and has no damage. Original wavy glass is in the side windows as well as the latching door. The gleaming case measures 40 inches tall x 14 1/2 inches across x 6 1/2 inches deep, and has no damage other than that described. The amazing part is that the clock is all original with no damage, including the original winding key. The clock has a rod gong and pendulum, and it winds and works well keeping excellent time, but will need adjustment (as any antique clock will) once it arrives in its new home. It is an 8-day plus clock, and gongs on the quarter hour. There are two small holes near the rod gong that may mean an adjustment was made to it in the past. See picture #12 for slight raised edge of the wood near the glass on the door.Unknown exact age and origin, as the gorgeous clock was purchased at an estate sale. The lovely clock will be expertly packed for safe shipping.
