Nicely Carved Rustic Walking/Swagger Stick

This is a Great looking Hand Carved Antique Walking or Swagger Stick from the 1st half of the 1900's featuring Four figural Busts that strongly Resemble Monks. The Carving is Fabulous and although I believe the Stick was once a Bit Longer it still Displays Nicely and would really Look Impressive after a light Cleaning. There is also a Metal Band (possibly silver) that is marked S to C?

Perhaps this was Carved by a Man traveling the World by Box Car or a Traveling Salesman. Or maybe it was carved by an Inmate in an Old Hard Labor Camp or Prison Release Yard. If only it could Talk.....

Either way, this is a Fabulous old Hand Carved Cane that could tell some Impressive Stories. Other than the usual age wear there are 2 slightly smushed noses on the busts but overall the carvings displays well and the cane is still the right size for a swagger stick.
