Up for your consideration is a magnificent plate with hand painted pink and green flowers on a cream background with Gold Moriage Enamel. It has a heavy gold rim and beaded work. It measures 8 3/4\" in diameter and is in very good condition-no chips, cracks, crazing or loss of color or gold trim. The only imperfection I see is one dot of gold from one of the flowers is missing. It has two holes where it was displayed -I think-on the back. It is hallmarked with a blue maple leaf-dating it to 1891 or so. It was purchased from an estate sale. thanks for reading....
