Approx. 21" tall German Handwerck mold #99 antique bisque head doll. Her head is perfect - no cracks - couple of tiny nips at pierced ear holes. Exquisite painting and deep modeling. Original dark brown sleep eyes have been rewaxed - work beautifully with perfect lids. Auburn brown wig is human hair, hand or locally made,and probably came from a family member - some sparseness, generally excellent - gorgeous color. Body is superb with very minor play wear, all orig. finishand is stamped "Heinrich Handwerck". Family group of clothes from all ages - might be original pantaloons - all in excellent condition. Lovely old stockings with old, much worn, leather (still supple) shoes. This is an exceptionally lovelyHandwerck bisque doll that would easily fit into the "French Market".
