This listing is for a fabulous pair of vintagebookends.They appear to be cast iron and feature a relief eagle at the center. The eagle appears to be paintedwith gold colored paint and is surrounded by a circular, leaf-shaped pattern. The topof the bookends are curved and the bases havea small curve at the center.

These bookends are used and are in good condition. Some of the gold paint is worn, which gives them a great vintage look, they are also a bit dusty. The bottoms are covered with felt, and the backs appear to have some sort of fabric at the top, it almost looks like the type of fabric that would cover a book. These bookends are 6 1/2\" at the tallest point and are 6\" wide. The base of each bookend measures 6\" x 2 5/8\" at thewidest point. I can not find any manufacturer\'s stamp on the bookends.

These vintage bookends have a lot of character and would look wonderful on display!
