A very nice original Antique Heywood Wakefield Gardner MA 1826 Sheraton Pillowback Hitchcock side Chairs with stencil decorated backs . Both chairs Are Signed on the back Heywood Wakefield Gardner MA 1826. Each chair retains it\'s original Black finish / paint with gold trim and stencil decoration, they both also look like they retain their original Rush Seats. Each one is done in a late Sheraton Pillow Back or Early Hitchcock Style with a pillowheadrest , stencil decorated back , rush seat , turned legs and front stretcher. A very nice set of two antique Side Chairs from the Heywood Wakefield Company of Gardner MA the beginning of all the Haywood Wakefield MCM furniture.<p>Size: About 34\" high x 17 3/4\" wide x 18\" deep , Seat height is 18\" <p>Condition: Both are in good condition , usual wear and tear for chairs this old, one chair has a broken stretcher in back that has been taped with black tape and need to be glued . you should be able to see it in the last photo\'s
