Stunning museum quality antique Indian Kashmir paisley shawl from the mid 1800\'s. This beautiful square cashmere wool shawl measures approx. 75 inches by 75 inches not including the fringe which is about one inch. The intricate hand woven design includes the vibrant colors of teal blue, apricot / saffron, lilac, vermillion red, pine green, black and greyish white.

There is some minor spotting in the center and a couple of small splits that look to me to be not so much holes but, where the stitching has come undone. Very minor and an easy fix. The largestsplit which measures 1/2 inch is shown in the last photo.

I have not cleaned this piece as I thought it best to leave that up to the buyer.Please let me know if you have any questions. , happy offerding!
