This is for an antique Indo-Persian Afghan Arabic horn and bone hilted pesh kabz dagger, circa 1860. The tapering single-edged steel blade, has a triangular section back, and is chased with decoration at the forte. The hilt has steel bolsters and steel edging, with bone and horn grips, carved with circular decoration. The dagger measures 33.8 cm in length overal. The blade measures 23.5 cm in length. It weighs 183 grams. The condition is generally good, there is pitting to the steel from age, and one piece of bone from the hilt has been restored, no other damage. Please see images.
