This is for an antique Indo-Persian Arabic solid silver mounted khanjar dagger, circa 1920. The curved double edged steel blade tapers to a sharp point, and is engraved to one side with an Arabic symbol. The hilt and scabbard are mounted of solid silver, which is chased with patterned borders, and applied with filigree decoration. This measures khanjar measures 27.8 cm in length overall. The blade measures 15.2 cm in length. It weighs 150 grams. The condition is gernally excellent, without dmaage or repair, the silver has the patina of age. Please see images.
