Antique International Time Recording Co. Secondary Slave Clock Ibm 1925:
Antique International Time Recording Co. Clock IBM 1925
This is an old time clock made by the International Time Recording Company that later became IBM. It is dated inside on a piece of paper September 22 1925. Also on the label is “Shipped to Pennsylvania Edison Co. Easton PA” Style # 312A, Order # E35049, serial # 298807. The piece measures approx 15” x 15” x 4”. I do not know if it works. The solenoid unit inside is marked 48 volts. I believe this unit was a slave to a master unit that would send a pulse signal every minute, activating the solenoid coils. It is not a motor driven clock. The condition is fair to good considering it was used in an industrial setting almost 90 years ago. There are spot stains on the wood and someone wrote 9-22-25 on the front cover in pen. It would be an easy project to refinish the cabinet but I like to keep old things original if possible. The patina of the wood gives it character. This would make a nice display piece or a fine addition to an IBM collection.I try to describe my items as accurately as I can.
