Antique JAPANESE LACQUER INRO with Netsuke - Signed
Antique gold lacquered 4-case inro: with design of the moon among tall grass and flowers, verso with beautiful flowers; the netsuke if a blossom with a gilt metal center, there is a blue hardstone that hang fron the end of the cord.
The inro is signed on the bottom as shown in the close-up photos.
Size: Length of inro is 3-1/2 inches. The netsuke is 1-5/8" in diameter.
FROM THE MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912)
Condition Report: inro- excellent condition no damage, no chips in the lacquer, netsuke has a few tiny and minor nicks on the edges of the flower pedals.
This is an estate piece, directly out of a home in central Massachusetts.
