Antique Japanese Arita Imari Pedestal Porcelain Bowl Vivid Hand Painted Meiji:
Stunning antique Japanese Imari pedestal bowl or haisen dating from the Meiji Period 1868-1912. This unusual bowl measures 5.75'' high and 9.25'' in diameter and features vivid hand painted enamels, a riot of color. Condition is very good with wear to gold and slight wear to the enamels, typical firing faults(see photos), no chips, cracks, repairs. Appears to have some slight lime deposits(photographed) most likely used as a plant holder at one time, have not tried to remove because never noticed it before listing it now. Nice addition to your collection, please ask any questions.
