This is a piece of textile or scarf from pre WWII between 1912-1948 when the Japanese bank went by The Sumitomo after 1948 with the start of WWII they changed their name to The Osaka Bank and eventually sold in 1998. This piece of textile is a beautiful work on art. It is clearly a hand dyed hand painted scarf and would make a very lovely wall hanging. Sadly it does has damage it has 2 small holes and a bit of paint on it. Both short edges have come un stitched. Measures 33\" long by 13\" tall
