THIS WEEK IM SELLING A FINE COLLECTION OF JAPANESE NETSUKE, PARK OF A LARGER COLLECTION FROM MIAMI, COLLECTED MID 80S, FINEST QUALITY, SIX ITEMS.OBJECT// Antique Japanese Netsuke, rare and unusual subject of a mythical mysterious and dangerous Fox priest, the carver has superbly captured the expression and movement of the beast, careful carving depicting the whiskers and eyebrows, quality inlayed mother of pearl eyeballs just to enhance the skill of the carver, to the reverse a strong and bold signature by the artist, mid 19th century. great sense of life and movement, like all good netsuke it as good from every angle including the bottom, excellent colour and patina, serious collectors item.
