Antique Kestner 150.1 All Bisque Doll, 7” In Orig Silk Costume, Excellent Cond For Sale
For your consideration is this gorgeous doll that is marked “150.1” on the back of her head - there may be more, but if so the wig covers it. She is 7 inches tall, all bisque with joints at her shoulders and hips, with open/close glass eyes and an open mouth with 4 teeth.
Her bisque is perfect, with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Her brows, lashes and lips still have their original painting. Her brown eyes are working perfectly. Her auburn human hair wig is full and luxuriant, with curls down her back and bangs in front.
She is wearing her original silk gown - I don’t know what to call the color, it’s kind of a sandy pink - with much lace trim, including a wide peplum. On her head is a matching bandeau - it’s not a full hat, more like a band - again with much lace trim. Under the gown are pink organdy panties, and of course her socks and shoes are painted on, the socks in pink and the heeled shoes in black. All of her clothing is in wonderful condition, with no problems noted.
She is nicely strung, not requiring a stand for her photos, and she is totally ready to be displayed.
