This is an antique Lafayette radio I got as a gift from an old boyfriend because I collect vintage plastic (I am pretty sure he paid about $100 for it circa 1989. I know nothing about radios, I GUESS it is the tube type but it does NOT work and the cord is rotten. It is for display only. It has fantastic Art Deco lines with cantilevered layers on the left, a dial on the right and curved lines. There are two different knobs, one might be a replacement but I got it that way. It is heavy, pick ups are very welcome.ONCE AGAIN! FOR DISPLAY ONLY IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!
