Ryan\'s Relics salesThis sale is for an Antique Large French Bisque Bebe bisque Doll , 37\" Size 17, by Jumeau / SFBJ circa 1900. From a local estate. A beautiful rare life size little girl doll. This doll was sold at Theriaults doll sale a few years ago and here is their professional description: 37\" (94 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,outlined lips,row of porcelain teeth,pierced ears,brunette human hair wig,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body,pretty vintage style dress. Condition: dime-size chip and reglue at bottom of neck socket. Marks: 17 (head). Comments: Jumeau / SFBJ,circa 1900. Value Points: rare large size model with original body.\"There are some chips to composition/paint on her hands and toes. Her costume is in good shape with some light fading. Her costume is on so tight that I didnt want to risk damaging the doll or dress to get a photo of the body. From what we can see, the body looks good with a few small flakes of composition / paint loss. Possibly some repainting at some time.
