Antique Limoges Blue Porcelain Pate sur Pate Plaque Signed Flute Player---- original frame approximately 11" X 12 Â½", porcelain plaque approximately 4 Â¼" X 5 7/8", white on rich cobalt blue, relief image of a maiden sitting on a rock under a tree playing a double flute, signed on lower right, we can make out 'Limoges" but the signature we would only be guessing at, see photo, frame appears to be original, France, circa late 19th Century early 20th Century, One of this past weekend Estate Sale finds! the porcelain has only a some minor soiling, the frame has a surface crack on the finish on the left side and a start of one on the right, probably caused by shrinkage of the wood (thanks to the CT climate), some soiling & aging but is very presentable, overall in very good UNTOUCHED ESTATE FRESH CONDITION!! !! IMPORTANT - PLEASE WAIT FOR OUR INVOICE BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT**
