You\'re offerding on a beautiful, three piece vanity set - tray, lidded powder jar and hair reciever - all pieces bottom-marked \"T&V - Limoges - France\".Tressemanes & Vogt was one of the majorlate 19th & early 20th centuryFrench manufacturers of fine porcelain - I\'ve read that this mark indicates 1892-1907 period of manufacture and that the pieces were produced as blanks - there\'s no artist marks, but they were perhaps either decorated by an amateur or by an artist working for a retailer.
Either way, the design is expertly done and beautiful - a pink and yellow beach rose motif against pastel hued pink and green base coloration, with gilded accent. Condition is overall good - the tray does have some light scratch visible within the gold portion of the design, and the hair receiver does have a fleabite chip on the bottom footing edge - nice clean presentation though - no significant chips and no cracks or crazing evident. Tray is 11\" X 8\", hair receiver is 4 7/8\" diameter and stands about 3 1/8\" tall, Jar is 4 3/4\" diameter and 4\" to the lid handle top.
