This is a nice original Banner #3 drip oiler made by Lunkenheimer. These were designed as a cylinder oiler for gas engines and compressors. Several California gas engine manufacturers (such as Union, Doak& Hercules)used them on the engines theybuilt back as early as the 1890\'s. Catalogue illustrations show the Banner mounted on their engines (see photos). This #3 size, with 3/8\" NPT outlet,would have been the proper size for most engines.

This oiler is in very nice condition with no dents or wrench marks. The glass sightsand the bakelite knobs are undamaged and original. It is very clean inside and ready to put on your engine.
