Antique Mid-19thc Deep Amber Blown Glass Utility Bottle Stoddard Keene ? Flask:
I will be listing a group of select Antique Bottles from several different estates this week.
Here is a Nice ANTIQUE 19THC BLOWN GLASS LIQUOR OR UTILITY BOTTLE ina Lovely DEEP AMBER (with a tinge of olive) COLOR. It is 9-5/16" tall. Looks like possibly a Stoddard or Keene type bottle from around the Mid-19thC, but I am not a bottle expert myself. Very irregular-shaped bottle with a number of big bubble imperfections in glass and striations in neck. This bottle was found in old storage next to the rare Avon Spring Water bottle I am listing (see my other listings) in anold local farmhouse in Massachusetts and coming fresh to the market. There is a shell chip in glass in the neck under the lip which must have been during the manufacture since the lip goes over the top of the chip as is not affected, so not a chip subsequent to themanufacture (see close-up). A tiny fleabite on the top rim. No other knicks or cracksand almost no wear marks on the sides. There is a piece of old cork loose on the inside of the bottle. Interior of bottle looks pretty clean. Guaranteed old. INSURANCE INCLUDED in the shipping total. Will pack with care as with all my items.
Massachusetts residents need to add the 6.25% sales tax.
Look for my other nice Antique Bottles I will be listing as well. See listing for payment and shipping details. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
