The shade is 9” tall – 8” diameter at the top and 15” at the bottom. The base is adjustable (the kind I like). Using this, the original shade, it stands 24” tall, not counting the finial. The top of the base has a sliding rod adjustment, so you may like it a little shorter or a little taller.
I’ve liked it because of its classic design and mellow look. I didn’t even know one of the glass panels had been repaired (long ago) until I took off the shade so I could photograph the inside.
If you have a critical eye, you can see the repaired glass pane from the outside, but you’re looking too closely. Thank goodness it is on the back, wink-wink. I guess that is why I never noticed it.
The finish has a nicer bronze tone than my image shows. I’ll try again in a minute.
It has nice new wiring. So, no worries.
