Title is AMERICAN DOMESTIC MEDICINE and HOUSEHOLD PHYSICIAN-Sick , Nursing , Mother\'s Management.by Edwin Lankester MD and Other eminent physicians and surgeons of America , Great Britain , France and Germany.It has 33 Full page plates (Illustrations.)Book measures approx 9\" x 7\" x 2 1/2\" and contains just OVER 1000 pages of information.It was published by TRUE & Co but I cannot find a publisher\'s date. The INTRODUCTION speaks of various \"epidemics\" throughout timeand ends noting the most recent epidemic of 1847-48 which author also notes \"is in recollection of many\". From this, I\'m ascertaining the book to have been written in mid to latter part of 1800s.It is in 2 parts: One is Dictionary style ( A-Z definitions). Second (and smaller portion) devoted to Practical Sick- nursing.Condition is Good.. Spine still intact although shows wear. First and last few pages show evidence of possibly a bookworm (?) but overall, interior very good.I found this in an estate along with many other books in a personal library. It was the interesting and attractive cover which drew me but the information contained within is also very thought provoking and could be a great addition to one\'s own library.Please inquire if questions.Shipping within USA 48 4.00.
