Antique Regimental Beer Stein Wurtt Grenadier Reg #123 Ulm c.1903-1905

Description: Original regimental (Reservisten) stein c.1905. Belonged to grenadier Bauer of King Karl of Wuerttemberg Grenadier Batallion 5 Regiment No.123 stationed in Ulm, Baden Wuerttemberg. 

Made of hard porcelain with lithophane in the bottom showing a soldier saying good-bye to his sweetheart. Very nicely decorated with the shoulder patch of the regiment, and hand-touched over transfer outline scenes of battles and everyday soldier's life.

Magnificent figural lid with a sitting soldier saluting with his flask. The thumblift is made in the form of a sparrow - this is the historical symbol of the city of Ulm.

Excellent condition - minimal age-related wear, no damage or repair whatsoever.

It is 12" tall, 0.5L capacity.
